At the Fifth Year Section Show, I was drawn toward section drawings that were very vibrant and used color to their advantage. Each of the section drawings below used color to delineate spatial qualities and call out different parts of their buildings.
This section used shades of a color to show curved surfaces and define interior vs exterior conditions. There is something about this section that is very fun -almost goofy.
This is probably my favorite section at the show. The drawing is really stripped down to four colors yet shows so much information. I really like how minimal this drawing is.
The use of the pink to highlight circulation really brings out what’s important about the project. The silhouettes and “character” of the pink add a fun atmosphere to the otherwise normal building.
Color is great! I love it so much!!
